Return to the land where there is no time / Regreso al país donde no existe el tiempo

For the past few days Ivana's dreams became frequent and strange. In one of them she had agreed to another dimension, away from the space and time. In the dream, fact and fiction mingled confusedly. Ivana unfortunately could not remember anything else. She had recently read a book by Eckhart Tolle called The Power of the moment in which we dominated questioned whether the mind or else it´s the mind that controls our actions. According to Eckart Tolle our conscience is what keeps us away from this, which is the only reality. Perhaps this author's thoughts have influenced the nature of her dreams.

This time Ivana could remember perfectly her last dream. She suddenly found herself in a magnificent terrace overlooking the city of the setting sun, tof he cold vastness described by Lovecraft. The faint rays of sunlight left to see bundles of golden dust that rose with the journey of the young. The seven moons of parchment were witnessing a twilight landscape in which they glimpsed lofty walls, fountains of silver cups and glasses suppliers.

Ivana felt an intangible presence beside him. She slowly sensed the familiar silhouette of a beautiful cat with long white hair " !Blueyes! You again! The animal stepped forward and said: "Ivana, what surprised you?" Ivana replied "I did not think seeing you again! Dreams are made of a lightweight material that vanishes forever.... "Blueyes smiled and said" There are recurring dreams, perhaps because due to concerns of the dreamer "Ivana said sadly:" You're right, Blueyes, I am always concerned that the world is an illusion and the power the mind has over us.

There was a silence. Ivana went on: "Blueyes, why dreams break the laws of logic?"The white cat, with his translucent eyes, looked at seven moons stuck in the sky and said: "In dreams there is no internal reflection, are magical in nature and we can move unrestricted space. Dreams recover ancient memories and emotions and are easily forgotten on waking "Ivana said:" Is it because of the neurobiological structure of our brain? Blueyes nodded: "While you sleep, sweet Ivana, your brain records important memories. Neurons work by strengthening the synapses or connections between them to make a weave that will not break easily ... The dream activity consolidates certain memories and learning, and check to trash others"

Ivana then asked candidly, "Blueyes are you my dream ?" Blueyes seemed surprised by the question and jumped to one side. He hesitated a moment and finally said, "Yes, truly I´m yours dream, the result of your brain activity" Ivana seemed disappointed. After a moment she said: "Blueyes, I feel you so real ... How I can distinguish the real from the unreal?

The white cat made a gesture of not knowing the answer. Ivana continued her reasoning: If you are my dream, am I dream of who? Do exist gods hidden in the dimensions of the universe that give me a virtual life? Blueyes laughed and said: "Ivana, you're amazing ... I do not know how you always manage to make more complicated questions to answer" then both laughed out loud, while walking on the fabulous terrace bathed in golden light from above.

Ivana then became somewhat serious and said: "Blueyes, I know you think I´m stupid per tell me why there are good and bad feelings? Why are we so contradictory, sublime and mean at the same time? Sometimes our emotions bind us to land, but at other times we rise to the heavens.

Then it came from somewhere a little green and yellow frog of bulging skin and eyes gleaming ruby. Blueyes said: "Hello Princess! What a joy to see you! What brings you here? The frog came hopping a little and said: "I heard your conversation and I wanted to happen to make one thing clear: charity, love and compassion are noble sentiments to be carefully watched." Ivana was surprised. Princess looked at her and said, "Dear child, although this is a dream, never forget my words."

Then suddenly it was heard a strange croaking and a raven black as soot and orange beak, landed in front of those present. "! Wow Dark ! You never miss an interesting conversation!, said Blueyes ". The bird responded with a deep voice, while folding their wings: "I thought I heard statements that are not true and wanted to express my opinion" Ivana looked at the crow and said: Come, speak! The bird took a deep breath and said: What would the Good without Evil? Do not you realize dear Ivana? Opposites needed and attract... Can you imagine a world where everyone was good? Will be it possible? Look like you that good and evil always go together: Faust and Mephistopheles, Cain and Abel, Jesus and Judas ..."

Princess replied angrily: "Shut up Dark! You're a damned liar, a demagogue and a fool sophist! "So spoke Blueyes:" Well, enough of discussions ... You will not ever put you right! ". At that time passed over their heads a flock of seagull’s black-necked amber. Blueyes watched them intently and said: "These birds live in the lost island of Darwin. Someday, Ivana, I'll take you there. The island keeps ancient secrets that will surprise you. “Ivana was a sign of assent. Then she said: Blueyes, "The mind controls our lives and makes us slaves of the same?

Blueyes and Ivana were left alone again in Hologramland. Now holding hands flew to the spiral staircase that leads to infinite. Blueyes answered the young girl: "Certainly, my child. The mind tends to create expectations of a wonderful future and forget the negative events of the past. The mind keeps man cheated to achieve their goals, which focus on keeping alive the flame of life that is passed in a relay race generational constant".

Now they were near the stairs crossed by a myriad of fireflies emitting a strange blue light. Ivana said, "But why loves life to life? Blueyes pranced on his and said with a whimper: "This is the million dollar question, which has no answer, dear child. Perhaps the explanation lies in the logic of cybernetics in our mind! "

Then, they sitting on the enigmatic staircase, and surrounded by low clouds of cherry-colored cotton, Ivana placidly smiling asked: Blueyes, you know the thought of Carlos Castaneda, an anthropologist at the South American century? The cat began to emit blue light flashes from his eyes and said: "It was a strange person ... became interested in shamanism, but in a very special way ... deepened the pain experienced by the lack of love and this kind of thing"

Ivana, enraptured, said: "Blueyes, I love how you explain things…they seem so simple " Blueyes smiled and said, "Castaneda studies on the meaning of love are deep into dangerous territory regarding how the nature of infinity. Ivana, what do you think is love? A dream or reality? "Ivana thoughtful rose and took a few little steps. Its length emerald green silk dress up little eddies of gold dust. Ivana finally said, "I do not know Blueyes. Frankly I do not know. “Blueyes then laughed aloud and said: !I caught you, pretty girl!

Ivana joyful now looked at the distant horizon, which sensed new sensory surprises. A gentle breeze ruffled her silk floaty dress. Blueyes, stroking his long mustache, his right leg, said: "Ivana, thinks that life itself is a great mystery. The existence has a holographic and fractal structure in the sense that all possibilities exist simultaneously. I explained you that time there is no existing, it´s a mirage. "The cat with blue eyes paused and continued:" Our individual consciousness interacts with a static model of the universe, which generates the illusion of dynamic experience”

Ivana stroked her beautiful brown hair, now sprinkled sparkles of golden light gave him a charming air. Ivana said: "Existence is how a film on DVD one that keeps a plot and characters trapped in a magnetic strip? Blueyes smiled nodded and said, "Certainly! It is a good simile! More or less is this, dear Ivana. We move in a static model of existence created by some unknown gods"

Ivana then asked Blueyes: “What it also means that Hologramland is fractal”. The cat shook its tail and said. "Human beings have free will, and that is the case, certain equations of the static model must possess the fractal nature of the infinite complexity. This aspect gives to life, which has a purely deterministic nature, a special character, which allows it to be given the irresistible magic of freedom.”

Ivana was really enthralled listening to his teacher. Yet despite all this amount of wonderful information, a new question tormented her and almost would not let her to breath: How can we overcome the illusion of this fantasy world and discover the real and true reality?Ivana then awakened from her sweet dream. In his mind still dancing intimate questions about the nature of illusion and reality of this world. She smiled to herself satisfied, might Blueyes had the answer. She observed the movement of the hands of her watch and the slow ticking of the same thing induced her again a deep sleep.

******************************************************************************

Ivana replicó: “¡No pensé volver a verte!

¿A qué no sería posible?

The land where there is no time / El país donde no existe el tiempo

Ivana had been that afternoon at the movies with her friends watching Alice in Wonderland, Tim Morton's film based on the famous story of Lewis Carroll. Returning home she was reading some blogs. Ivana noted her watch: it is one minute to midnight. Sleep overcame her and fell asleep on the keyboard of her computer. In her dream, Ivana was transported to a pale cherry hill in the middle of a strange and beautiful site. The day was declining and an overhead light of a sunset ending was everywhere.

A voice reminded her of some of the phrases she had read minutes before one of the blogs: "It is significantly different to contemplate the universe at the macroscopic level to descend to the realm of the Heisenberg uncertainty principle: the subatomic particles deviate only watch. When we look at an object but do not see the light atoms bouncing in their microscopic electronic shields. Sometimes things are not what they seem, especially the one farther out in the tiny world of superstrings. "

Ivana envisioned a spiral staircase and decided to climb up its stairs. Ivana wore a flowing gown of ivory silk and had a long brown hair. Her blue-green eyes reflected the color of indigo tones of subdued light that was everywhere. Suddenly there appeared a strange character: it was a cat with long white coat and translucent blue eyes, large and ragged ones. His pupils were long and black.

The cat jumped acrobatic and stood in front of Ivana. "Hi Ivana," said the animal with a voice that was more of a whimper than words. Ivana, surprised, said: "Oh, a cat that talks! I never saw anything like it! And the cat replied, "I´am Blueyes, a distant cousin of the Cheshire cat, you know, the famous cat of  Lewis Carrol, or Charles Lutwidge Dogston, as you prefer to call him." Ivana laughed and sat on the steps of the spiral staircase while watching the low pink cotton clouds floating weightlessness in the atmosphere. Ivana also was able to perceive with surprise a slow procession of fireflies that emit violet light and climbed up the symbolic structure of an ancestral deoxyribonucleic acid.

"I think you're not too convinced of my identity," said Blueyes and then began to fade and disappear. Only the smile of the cat was in the air. Ivana laughed: "You win. You've convinced me ... tell me where are we?.." The silhouette reappeared again and the cat sat on the side of Ivana and said, "You are in the land of holograms ..." said Blueyes. Ivana smiled sweetly and said "I read something about the universe is an immense hologram." Cat opened wide his eyes glow blue and said, "You hit the nail pretty girl" and stared at her.

After a few seconds, Blueyes added: "Alain Aspect, a French physicist and his team discovered in 1982 that some subatomic particles are able to communicate instantly with each other. This is what is known as quantum entanglement. "Ivana replied:" However, there seems to be able to transmit information faster than light. This would violate the Einstein´s theory of relativity"

The cat stares at the girl: "Wow! Much know the girl! "And added:" This objection is very successful. Physicist David Bohm, University of London, for example, believes Aspect's findings imply that objective reality does not exist and that, despite its apparent solidity the universe is a ghost, a giant hologram splendidly detailed. This conviction told David Bohm another way of understanding Aspect's discovery”

Blueyes observed with bright neon look to Ivana and said: "Beautiful girl, give me your hands. We´ll  take a walk in Hologramland, the land where there is no time. "Ivana looked at him suspiciously. "What time mark your watch? Blueyes then asked. Ivana watch the clock and said: "The twelve least one minute." Blueyes laughed and said: "Time is being held in Hologramland. Here, time does not exist, is only an illusion for the visitors. Our universe is something like the space-time of Einstein ... The nature of the hologram allows from a fragment is possible to reproduce the total image of the object. The whole is then present at the part. "

Ivana stood a moment bewildered. She then asked with curiosity: What explains the lack of time? Blueyes moved his long whiskers and said: "In Hologramland all possible worlds coexist and all events imaginable: it is both a mirror maze and forking paths. At every crossroads there is a random choice. Past and future do not exist in Hologramland, only the present exists and virtual images of the same replicated in the mirrors of time. "

The cat looked tenderly at Ivana and added: "The distance between two virtual images of the same event is what we call time. In truth it does not exist as such, is only an illusion. We can say that time and eternity are empty words, present only in some dictionaries. We live in a perpetual surreal world, similar to the intersection of the extraordinary visions of Salvador Dali and Jorge Luis Borges. "

Ivana was increasingly surprised. Then she said: "Blueyes, this telling me is amazing! The cat laughed and said, "Come, We´ll take a walk." Ivana obeyed and began to float and move with lightness in that atmosphere of the Blueyes´s hand. The extraordinary feline led her by all of Hologramland. They visited Heliocristal the city where the air is pure helium and the only that is dominated by seven moons of amber colored parchment, the mythical city of the setting sun Lovecraft dreamed.

They also traveled by psychedelic slides at breakneck speed to the primal events and observed the reflection of them in multiple reverberations in the maze of Hologramland´s mirrors. They saw Christ drinking from the Holy Grail. They noted the assassination of Kennedy, met Christopher Columbus landed in the New World, sailed through a green river of crocodiles and water lilies floating on a lake of mercury, bathed in a waterfall of gold dust, they walked through the Forest of Nonsense of Wittgenstein and Charles Ludvidge Dodgson, where strange people were warned of the pitfalls of not properly use the logic in language.

They later went into the Forbidden Garden of Synesthesia where nothing is what it seems: sounds wonderful smelling like a rose, a touch of exquisite flavors, smells sublime sound. Then they flew over the Wonderful Beach, populated by golden sand dunes, coconut and romantic palm trees. At the end they envisioned some rocky cliffs where crimson stood an old lighthouse at the end of a narrow tongue of land. "He is the Lighthouse of reality," said Blueyes. Ivana nodded. Blueyes added: "They have ancient legends that it inhabits invisible beings, an esoteric sect that observes the world from his unusual vantage point."

After this momentous journey they back again to the spiral staircase and Blueyes said: "David Bohm believes that subatomic particles are able to stay connected, regardless of the distance separating them is not due to be issued and receive some kind of mysterious signal, but because their separation is fictitious. He claims that at some deeper level of reality such particles are not individual entities, but are actually extensions of a whole.

Ivana was fascinated watching Blueyes and said: "Dear friend, I never imagined that a cat could be so wise." Blueyes´s eyes now emitting blue flashes. The cat replied in an offended tone, and with some irony: "Ivana, remember that I'm not a normal cat." Ivana smiled sweetly and turned his eyes toward the infinite, gently caressing the animal's back, and saying: "I read somewhere that individual brains are actually indivisible parts of a hologram top and everything is infinitely interconnected. From these premises, telepathy is simply to access the holographic level?"

The cat hesitated and said: "Karl Pribran, Viennese neurologist and neurosurgeon, says that our brain constructs mathematically reality interpreting frequencies that come from another dimension, primarily archetypal, which transcends time and space. The brain is a hologram interpreting a holographic universe. "

Blueyes added, "Altered states of consciousness may be due to an invisible tune with the matrix generated by the concrete reality. This can make it possible to interact with reality to a primary level, giving rise to precognition, psycho kinesis, healing, distortion of the length of time, ultra-fast learning, etc. Some argue that ordinary reality is an illusion, paradoxically filled a void"

Ivana breaths deeply and said: "As stated traditionally Asiatic religions may be true that the material world is an illusion." Blueyes stretched his back covered with silky white hair, nodded and said, "Actually, maybe we receptors kaleidoscopic floating in a sea of frequencies and what we extract from this sea and transcribe as physical reality is but one channel of many removable hologram of the universe. "

Blueyes looked into the eyes of Ivana and added: "I hope my explanations have provided a little light to all these tangled issues. The holographic model of the universe may be the ultimate explanation of everything. "

Ivana at the time she woke up, startled. In her mind danced a lot of unanswered questions. Really, time is a distance in space of the universe? Is the cosmos a labyrinth of mirrors that reflect their infinite images? Are there any mathematical equations that define the holographic universe? Is the world an illusion? Then she realized that the holograms´s land of her evanescent dream was actually our universe. Blueyes had revealed this message covertly hidden in the mist of poetry and metaphorical language.

Ivana was happy and took a deep breath. She watched the clock: it was twelve o'clock at night. He turned off the computer before go to the bed. The plasma screen blinked and the image was weakened floating in it. Then she seemed to see the Blueyes´s broad smile fading on the monitor. Ivana winked and smiled with pleasure.

*******************************************************************

Me has convencido…dime ¿dónde estamos?...”

The cotton dreams of Lovecraft / Los sueños de algodón de Lovecraft

Howard Phillips Lovecraft was born August 20, 1890 in Providence, Rhode Island. Their dreams filled with delusional fantasies clearly express their naïve reality. His alter ego Abdul Alhazred the mad Arab, author of the imaginary book Necronomicon was the way to expose the fast-paced world its inner world.

The stories of Lovecraft's fiction are the visible part of their philosophical and scientific concerns that hid his personality. Lovecraft was an avid reader of the Greek philosophers and was abreast of the latest discoveries in physics, chemistry and biology. His fantastic literature was remarkably influenced by Edgar Allan Poe and Edward. J. Plunkett, Lord Dunsany. The theory of relativity of Einstein and quantum mechanics made him question whether logical positivism Bertran Russell remained a benchmark.

Lovecraft in 1927 in a letter said: "To achieve the essence of reality, the dimensions of space and time, we must dispense with organic life, good and evil, love and hate and all the attributes inconsistent mankind." This search of the lovecrafnian elusive characterizes all his work, full of amazing trips, worlds never seen by anyone, abominable beings, gods who watch over us, and immortal cities.

The nostalgia for a lost past, a childhood that no longer were invisible argument that led him to imagine his endless sagas mysterious beings that populated his delirious virtual expeditions beyond. These literary itineraries led him to descend into an abyss of symbolic and mystical him away from the conscious world. Their stories were moving in areas fantastic surrealist releasing their tensions and frustrations within their soul.

It was like is to create the darkest corners of the human condition, while his spirit rose to impossible worlds. His dreams of cotton kept him in a languid, almost eternal dream that supplied then access to other dimensions of consciousness. It was as achieving the most sacred of certain mystical practices. By the same human mind reaches certain stages of knowledge that alienate the man, merging with the universe.

Cross the threshold that leads to worlds unknown was to Lovecraft an exciting adventure similar to the ingestion of LSD. Beyond the mysterious door everything changes: the reality is not the same, is transmuted into the sensorial nature of synesthetic phenomena of all kinds. Howling sounds that are silent, the stones fall apart, rot and smell like carrion. Sounds emit light, walking mountains, tiny creatures are everywhere. Numinous experiences are achieved ineffable character.

This ineffability is one of the characteristics of mystical experiences and occurs when deleting temporary analytic functions of brain activity. We filtered the reality and we are left with only a small part. Our senses are responsible for this mission. We are sensitive only to certain wavelengths that allow us the vision, a certain part of the sound spectrum, or olfactory detect a certain range of odorant molecules not exceeding 300 daltons molecular weight.

When we are unable to express in words our experiences are so profound in the phenomenon of ineffability. Some had such mystical visions. Why is this happening? Possibly these sensory experiences are based em early reports based on fantasies of preverbal age of each individual child.

For this ineffability Lovecraft exudes all his stories and takes us to places full of unrealistic dream experiences are often unpleasant and fills us with horror. This transgression caused by the thoughts of the writer of Providence break all the schemes of a predetermined order, and seriously undermines our sanity.

This induction into madness, the immersion experience in a dream world which leads us to our self is integrated into the "not me," robs us of our identity, which is perhaps the most sacred value of enjoying life. Paradoxically, this immersion in a world of terror and loved nasty, sticky and sometimes even disgusting in others is what gives the reader an intellectual enjoyment. Is like taking a psychedelic trip without eating certain drugs dangerous effects. Reading Lovecraft is to achieve the ecstasy of LSD but without relevant side effects.

The alienating effects are fully reversible over time and cause us pleasure. Stimulated endorphins are triggered only by the dreamer's esoteric magic of Providence. There is now some scientific evidence that our brain creates artificially threatening situations, such as nightmares, delusions or psychosis to cause the release of endorphins.

Macabre and evil beings, such as guls, or sinister and repulsive, like the emaciated beasts of the night with terrifying cats, who are curiously Lovecraft loved to madness in real life, give an idea of an offense to which his total literature fantastic of cotton dreams was able to achieve.

Lovecraft hated the fact that he believed sense of a hostile world that was alien and took refuge in long reveries in which anything was possible. Logical and unfettered through the stimulation of certain regions of the limbic system, the system hallucinatory sensory experiences, feelings of being outside the body, delusions or feelings of déjà vu.

"That is not dead which can eternal lie and with strange aeons even death may die", reads the cryptic inscription on his tombstone in the cemetery of Providence. Only death was the end of Lovecraf naive reality, which was the more biased view of the outside world we all have. If we experience these feelings just have to read their Cthulhu Myths or oneiric adventures of Radolph Carter. This guarantees an unforgettable psychedelic journey, full of horrible and pleasurable sensations, and as I said before, without harmful effects to our health.

*******************************************************************

The illusory universe of Borges / El universo ilusorio de Borges

"I do not know who I am. Perhaps an illusion created by your generosity. "With those words, full of emotion, Jorge Luis Borges spoke to the attendees who were following with interest his lecture in the auditorium of the Universidad Central de Barcelona. It was a sunny evening in April 1980.

"Our existence is a maze of chaotic and random branching. We are our memories, we are that chimerical destiny of shapes, that heap of broken mirrors. "So Borges saw the fragile nature of our self-transferable.

The amazing magic of Argentine writer numbing vulgarity and enhances the numinous sensitivity of the reader. Borges felt that the language is part of the fiction and therefore is unable to convey an adequate knowledge of the world.

Borges, introducing philosophical elements in their stories, moved to the area fictional metaphysics he belongs. Borges was recreated hiding subliminal information between the lines, waiting for a discerning reader would be able to decipher it. Each new reading of Borges's work has always new meanings, as in Kabbalistic practice. The magic of Borges is to go through this evanescent mist where reality blends with imagination. Does reality and fiction are not the same thing?, Borges asked innocently.

Borges discovered the world as contrived, like a maze in which we are hopelessly lost. We perceive reality through a series of external and internal messages. The first comes from our environment, while the latter emanate from our brain. All the signals received form our notion of reality. But can we be confident that these perceptions are not fictitious? Is there an objective reality independent of our personal opinion?

Borges argued that this is home to our past and our future is prefigured in a way of seeing things einstiana. Borges also believed that reality was uncertain that everything is and is not. Borges reflected thus: "Do not live in an illusory space where reality is unknowable? Let us admit what all idealists know: the hallucinatory nature of the world. We have dreamed mysterious, visible and ubiquitous in space and firm in time. "

Borges sensory filters lead it to show that the world was fake. Perhaps the ghost of blindness in his youth and the slow progression of the disease later ate their special way of elucidating the universe. The cerebral cortex, in the absence of a sense fits conveniently order to optimize its functionality. Brain plasticity enhances then other faculties. For some of these virtues Borges were the wit, the capacity of abstraction, fantasy and the facility for offshore fable invented.

The brain activity also causes a set of virtual elements that are sometimes confused with reality. The invisible world and the imaginary one sometimes are overlapping. Borges all doomed to live their naive reality as if it were perceived as an illusion. Is your unending world of mirrors and mazes are not the reflection of his peculiar way of interpreting reality?

Borges perfectly discerns the substantial nature of the cosmos, real and imaginary at time. However, he preferred to ignore this fact. What obey this behavior? One can speculate that an inability to answer certain questions existentialists, Borges chose to relocate certain philosophical arguments always more friendly to the field of literary fiction. Thus was born a whole aesthetic of seeing the world Borges: apocryphal books, authors and remote locations lacking ever visited.

The universe of Borges would gradually populating fantastic bodies that were behind the smooth prose and poetic fantasies of the author. Borges to consider reality as a puzzle whose key lies ultimately in the divine intelligence reinforced his belief in the inaccessibility of reality. This skepticism Borges immutable form is present throughout his work.

The reality for Borges was a set of elements where the entire universe conjured conceivable. Also fall in this world of chimeras and the intuitions of the imperceptible. Is it possible to assess to what extent these invisible dimensions changes the nature of reality?

In The Secret Miracle, Borges plays with the relativistic conception of time in an intellectual somersault fantastic nature. Borges´s reality converges in infinite dimensions. Here is concentrated the wisdom and all ignorance. This universe has reached Borges paradigmatic literary category of myth and is known universally by almost sacred name: El Aleph.

Fiction, also the product of our brain activity, consists of a set of virtual elements that sometimes overlap with reality. Borges deciphered the world from a distorted logic that confused reality with fiction, repeatedly proclaiming that the universe is misleading.

Borges's stories, fiction and reality come together. Pierre Menard had the daunting task of recreating the Quixote without copying. In the lottery of Babylon, chance is the one that decides on life and death of its citizens. The Garden of Forking Paths presents the eternal dilemma between the aletoriaridad and determinism of the universe. Borges weaves a web of almost infinite parallel universes in which we are trapped, unable to resist the captivating magic of their proposals.

Coleridge: "If a man could pass through Paradise in a dream and gave him a flower as proof that he has been there, and on waking found that flower in his hand ... what then? ". Borges was this attitude as a challenge to the physical laws of the universe, it was as a desperate attempt to transgress the established order of creation.

The vision of the illusory world of Borges contrasts sharply with a more objective approach it, in which the scientific method plays an important mission. This conception of reality Borges has a certain conjunction with the theory of Plato's ideas.

The Irish philosopher George Berkeley it was questionable whether a falling tree in a forest and was not seen by anyone, making noise. Borges did not consummate such statements, but took pleasure reading the encouraging speculation Berkeley.

The observation of reality led to Borges in the paths of knowledge imbued with mystery. The search for the elusive reality Kant, Borges supposed to investigate the possibility of new approaches to perception. The transferable stories of Argentine writer, his prose and his poems have achieved immortality, which Borges curiously never wanted for himself.

************************************************************************

“No sé quién soy.

The time when the bullfighters die / La hora en que mueren los toreros

At five o'clock in the afternoon.

It was five o'clock.

A boy brought the white sheet

at five o'clock in the afternoon.

The rest was death and only death

at five o'clock in the afternoon.

The wounds were burning like suns

at five o´clock in the afternoon

and the crowd was breaking the windows

at five o ´clock in the afternoon.

Oh, what a terrible five o´clock in the afternoon!

Was five o'clock by all the clocks!

Was five o'clock in the afternoon shade!

                                                         Federico García Lorca

The bullfighter dressed in his suit of light blue and silver goes to the center of the ring and gives the public the death of the bull. Hundreds of years of a strange liturgy hide behind this simple gesture. The man's eyes light blue and silver is lost in the distance, looking for the infinite. The sun burns the bowels and the shadow is an oasis in hell thirsty. The monster of the labyrinth waits immemorial for the unequal battle. The fight of the bull is fierce and the sand of the circular plaza is stained of blood of the black animal, like a mythical Cretan Minotaur.

The slaughtering of the bullfighter has been working and full of art. The audience chanted " Bullfighter, bullfighter, bullfighter ..." Joyful music has accompanied the feast of blood. Risk and drama are two sides of same coin ... The courage, fear, cruelty, ephemeral glory, a sublime cast, the suffering of an innocent animal, the cacophony of a public eager for excitement are part of the colossal spectacle

The matador and the cape gives some bull rushes, with their flags of punishment stuck in his back. The bullfighter is directed to one side of the square. The bull charges forward and takes the fighter ... One of his horns tearing a thigh ... you people shout ...  drama and pain in the arena ... The bullfighter is urgently removed to the infirmary ... The bull will continue to suffer in the arena to the delight of viewers ... The bullfighter in between life and death ... The show goes on ... Hundreds of years covered the rite of blood ... Nothing and nobody is going to stop ... It is the cosmic tragedy of eternal recurrence..

The square was left alone. The silence is deathly. A fragile little bird flutters and stops on the golden sands of a yellow sun of death, next to a red pool of cool blood ...The air goes a frightening melody and seems to whisper a few words lost in time. In them I guess a few names: Ignacio Sánchez Mejías, Joselito, Manolete, Paquirri ...

"The wind blew away the cotton at five o'clock, and the oxide scattered crystal and nickel at five o'clock in the afternoon," Federico García Lorca concludes from the other side of reality.

*****************************************************************************

The logic of language according Wittgestein / La lógica del lenguaje según Wittgenstein

“The limits of my language are the limits of my world." This reflection of the Viennese philosopher Lugwing Wittgenstein, one of the most illustrious of the twentieth century, synthetically summarized his views on the philosophy of language. Wittgenstein's work, expressed in aphorisms as if it were a sacred book, delving into the interpretation of the meaning of language and indirectly trying to establish the relationship between it and reality. This Wittgensteinian approach defines the scope of our naive reality , that the universe allows us to see exactly how we see it.

John Locke, a seventeenth-century English thinker considered the father of empiricism, had stated that the ideas emanating from our sensory experience, giving the language a communicative purpose. For Locke the words were signs of internal conceptions. Language is an effective form of communication, like gestures, smell, sound or touch. The words, grammar and semantics are some blocks of language and have progressed in an evolutionary way, providing precision and ambiguity subtracting communication. The addition of spoken language can be written and geographical and historical reasons it has different modes which we call languages.

St. Augustine in Confessions considered that we acquire language by ostensive learning, knowing the meaning of words to be linked to its use. These Augustine's ideas greatly influenced philosophy wittgeinstiana.

For the people, objects and concepts we assign words to identify them. It is a way to label fragments of reality to have subsequently benchmarks to which we can go to communicate. In turn, the rules of grammar and language use serve to establish logical propositions unequivocally linking the various terms that are part of our linguistic dictionary. The language is a consequence of brain activity and some of their properties such as memory are determining factors in the effectiveness and usefulness.

The structure of language and the set of words that compose it helps to think clearly and avoid confusion. Coincise also thinking helps to develop a language endowed with logic and efficiency. Linguistic relativity Sapir-Whorf hypothesis states that there is a relationship between the grammatical categories of language and way of conceptualizing the world. Language and thought are fed back in progression towards excellence in communication. It is considered that language as communicative expression is the result of the removal of matter and energy of an event. Language as an expression of abstract and symbolic ideas has been a key factor in the development of human intelligence and is what really distinguishes us from other animals.

The eminent German philosopher, Gottob Fredge, argued that the meanings of the words belong to the society and not to the minds of individuals. What is unique to individuals are subjective representations, of which words are signs of internal representations as John Locke asserted.

Wittgenstein kept constant metaphysical discussions with his friend and his teacher Fredge Bertran Russell, about the deeper meaning of language. Wittenstein in the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus considered language as a Kantian a priori form that structures thought and expresses the true nature of their boundaries. Some reminiscences Kant also found in the Jorge Luis Borges, who understood the language as part of the fiction and therefore can not be assured that convey a perfect knowledge of the world.

In the Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus underlies a theory of figurative representation of the sign, as something that serves as the idea or reality. The signs are conventional, so there are multiple languages, but thoughts are not. However, there are expressions that can be exposed through a cognitive communication and that can only be displayed. One of these entities is the logical structure of linguistic constructions. This first work has a distinctly Wittgenstein dogmatic, as well as later recognized its author. It is a rigorous analysis of how the human mind and tries to explain his true nature.

Tautologies and logical propositions constitute the body of a new wittgeinstenian philosophy Propositions Gödelian untold which arise as critical to the work of Bertran Russell, was a challenge that motivated to loop the loop Wittgenstein philosophical speculations around mathematical logic and its possible influence on the language systems.

Years later regretted Wittgenstein certain conclusions in his Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus and tried to refute in a new work entitled Philosophical Investigations. According to this new study Wittenstein, language must be considered in the bosom of the various communicative contexts and rules of use of the words in such contexts. It moves away from the underlying logic language, which was like a Kantian a priori, the actual grammar uses of language.

The language for Wittgenstein is the result of its use, taking its reason for being in communication contexts. Words are not mere mental representations of reality. The game of language must be viewed as heuristic. The language does not have the paradigmatic function of establishing the essential connection between language and reality. Language is the result of a rigorous mathematical logic. A transcendental philosophy itself applies a new thread pitch in search of the invisible threads of thought

The meaning of a word must be open and polysemic. Polysemy is important, as illustrated by the Catalan physical Ricard Solé in neuronal clusters, which provide a small world structure, which promotes communication skills enormously. Wittgenstein argues that neither the sense nor the intrinsic value of words can be set at the margin of the daily reality of language. Wittenstein also carefully analyzed the functional differences semiotics of linguistic signs.

In his new conception of language, Wittgenstein completely changes your perspective and breaks the theory of representation. Wittgenstein is especially interested in the different language games. Wittgenstein goes the logic of a speech without reflection, to the distortion in multiple local logic, where it is impossible to find a last certainty. The language is much more than words. What makes the language is its use, its practical use in the various games. People learn to speak with the practices and ways of life that can not be described. The meanings and uses are different among them there are only vague similarities.

The deep study of philosophy of language and its meanings Wittgenstein took the concept of metaphysical silence. The absence of meaningful language puts us in the field of ethics, aesthetics and mysticism. The language is interpreted as a logical space. The language isolation ends in a dense, full of meaning, but paradoxically can not be formulated.

Wittgenstein captured reality through language, with all its variants semantic, structural and cultural. His world lit up his mind through his studies on language scholars. Wittgenstein pursued all his life at all. This transcendent mysticism gave sublime moments of glory and happiness. Near his death, however, the ephemeral excitement of this world no longer had any value for the linguistic philosopher of logic. His naive reality was always mediated by study of the metaphysics of language and interpretation of multiple underlying metalanguages.

The divine reality of Christ / La divina realidad de Cristo

"Father, let this cup pass from me, nevertheless not my will but yours. Filled with anguish, sweat like great drops of blood running to the ground ". These words of Jesus are taken from the Gospel of Luke. They reflect all the anguish of a man who was afraid to face death, but facing this  bitter trance with great fortitude.

While Jesus prayed in Gethsemane, on the slopes of Mount of Olives, just outside the Palestinian city of Jerusalem, he knew he could not avoid a tragic end and imminent change without sacrificing their deep religious convictions. Jesus, hours later, expiring on the cross could not foresee the consequences of his death. Jesus knew that he would enter an impressive manner in eternity. Perhaps never knew that their heroic act would be a huge boost to the survival of life in capital letters. Perhaps Jesus had a feeling in this respect and this gave him the energy to face his death with the strength of heroes.

Jesus was an extremely religious man, with a great love for others. He was also a committed idealist fighting the injustices of his time. This hard attitude led him to be guilty of death, due to intolerance of a people subject to some entrenched traditions. Jesus accepted his fate with the ominous mood of who believes in his ideals. Jesus was a prophet of Galilee, a region north Palestine, preaching in the name of God. The usual figure of the prophet was normal in Judaism. Jesus belonged to a social group where prophets like Isaiah, who lived about 800 years earlier, were part of their usual way of sacred culture. The bibliographic sources leave no doubt about the existence of Jesus of Galilee as a historical person. Rudolf Bultman, German Lutheran exegete and theologian, argues strongly in this regard: "We can not know practically nothing about the story of Jesus: Just know that existed."

We know bits and pieces of the life of Jesus by his disciples and documents and other characters have left on the books as the Gospels and the Acts of the Apostles. The Gospels were the propaganda tool of Christianity, which became the Jesus of History the Christ of faith. Later theological myth of Christ was used by the Catholic Church to build a powerful institution. At the time of Jesus there were various sects within the Jews, like the Essenes who had a relevant importance. The Essenes were a Jewish congregation, which dates back to the adopted son of Moses, called Esen, approximately 1,500 years BC It was speculated that Jesus had a relationship with them.

The Dead Sea Scrolls of Qumran Scrolls, named after the first scrolls found in a cave located at Qumran on the shores of the Dead Sea is a collection of nearly 800 Jewish writings, written in Hebrew and Aramaic by members of the Jewish congregation in the Essenes, and found in eleven caves in the rugged area around the Dead Sea. This momentous discovery allowed to study in depth theological and organizational sources of Judaism and Christianity. Most of the manuscripts are dated between 250 BC and 66 A. C., being among them the oldest texts that are available in the Tanakh Hebrew Bible or Old Testament. It is believed that were hidden by the Essenes because of the Jewish revolt against Rome in those years.

Jesus believed in the God of the Jews, the God of Abraham and Moses. It was one God, omnipotent, omniscient and infinite goodness. The concept of God has always been present in humanity, comforting and giving meaning to life. The American Francis Collins, PhD in chemistry, in The Language of God by anthropological considerations follows that the brain needs to God. Many scientists have also argued that ethical values are programmed in our minds for the preservation of life.

There are theories that it is scientifically verifiable advocate another kind of intelligence, by which we grasp ideas and emotions that are sympathetic to concepts such as God and transcendence. Its empirical basis lies in the biology of neurons. It was verified that the unifying experience originates with neural oscillations at 40 Hz, located especially in the temporal lobes of the brain. These electric waves trigger an experience of religious exaltation. Therefore, neurobiologists like Michael Persinger and Danah Zohar, Ph.D. in quantum physics, named this region of the temporal lobes as "the point God."

The American scientist Dean Hamer in "The God Gene" speaks of a neurotransmitter associated with situations of peace and spirituality. Meanwhile, Ramon M. Nogues, a Catholic priest and professor of Biological Anthropology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, said: "God is the set of dimensions of the reality of the universe." This definition represents a God with holistic and abstract features. Other trends suggest spiritual like Buddhism meditation to overcome suffering and reach a spiritual state of inner peace.

New York psychiatrist and neurologist ArthurJ.Deikman says mystical phenomena are due to automatization of psychological structures that filter the perceptual stimuli coming from outside. This mechanism leads to a more primitive thinking in which the separation between "me" and "not me" disappears. Then the person experiencing such phenomena are integrated into a whole feels that perhaps we can identify as the concept of God. Some diseases, drugs, or religious rituals, causing a decline in awareness in the primary psychological states that are experiencing intense feelings of peace and lofty spirituality.

Michael Persinger, meanwhile, says that the experience of God is a product of the human brain, modulated by the personal history of each individual. We have seen that there are multiple theories about divinity But how our mind processes the concept of God? David Linden, a professor of neurobiology at the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, seems to have found some key answers to such questions in his book "The Accidental Mind". Professor Linden explains that the brain invents stories through the establishment of neural connections between the system limbic governs emotion and rationality which lies in the cerebral cortex. This mechanism allows a man to give meaning to their lives. These fictional stories are formed from fragments of sensory and memory. Faith is one of the consequences of this pattern of brain activity.

Faith takes various facets such as the scientific or religious. In this way we can assimilate facts so contradictory to our logic and theories of quantum mechanics, the existence of God or the miraculous events. Faith, however presupposes that the events not susceptible of it are true or false. For its veracity should falsify the phenomenon, and in some cases this does not bring us any, if we were to gödelian untold concepts, which you cannot prove either one way or another. Faith is the result of a prodigious left brain activity that ultimately could be described as cybernetics. Its mission is to keep the life of what can hurt and bring it to what suits you best. "Faith is not only the religion, is also an important step in the task of making sense of our world," said David Linden.

Neuronal contacts between different parts of the brain mitigate the concerns raised by the confrontation between the rational parts of the brain with the most emotional. Religious beliefs, like dreams, they violate our perception of reality and soften a little. David Linden rejects creationism a designer God of the universe and of man with the argument that the human brain is very poor in design, as evidenced, among other things, that the brain is built by adding successive layers to the existing through a long evolutionary process. A design was conceived from the beginning would be better structured.

Others, like the English neurologist Michael Trimble, suggest that certain abnormalities or brain lesions can be one of the causes of mystical perceptions or hallucinations. Examples of these phenomena should have in the dramatic conversion of Paul of Tarsus, or some wild visions and ecstatic states that experienced some saints as Teresa of Jesus. "While they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed it, broke it and gave it to His disciples said, Take, eat, this is my body," according to quote the Gospel of Matthew. Jesus then added, taking a cup: "Drink all, this is my blood of the covenant which is shed for the remission of sins".

At the last supper with his disciples Jesus, with this symbolic liturgy and surrounded by a sacred mysticism, prepared them for his apostolic mission to spread his message of ecumenism. Jesus probably never wanted to found a dissenting religion of Judaism, just waiting for the arrival of the Kingdom of God, announcing the ancient prophecies of the Bible. Paul of Tarsus, also known as St. Paul, the tireless preacher of the doctrine of Christ, located in Jesus the realization of the promises made by God to Abraham. The teachings of Jesus caused a huge impact on Judaism. The Master of Galilee wanted to replace archaic religious practices by other more humane.

Jordi Llimona, the Capuchin friar, explains in his book Jesus of Nazareth that Jesus' resurrection should be understood metaphorically, as it is not proven as historical fact. Jesus' sublime mysticism and irreversibly enters into eternity. The resurrection of Jesus is not due to an earthly phenomenon, is a definitive and universal epiphany of faith in the teachings of the Master of Galilee. Jordi Llimona qualifies that this phenomenon did not occur in reality but a palpable timeless dimension.

Jordi Llimona also says that Jesus announced the nearness of the Kingdom of God and his words were distorted as if to proclaim himself King of the Jews. Jesus was condemned to death as a political rebel, as a zealot. Jesus had great charm on the people. The Romans feared an uprising of Jews against them. Jesus opened the doors of the Kingdom of God to those who were excluded by Jewish law, as sinners and gentiles. This will seriously undermine the established religion. Jesus was considered blasphemous for this reason.

Death on the Cross reveals that the Son of God, to abdicate its power, saves us by his act of humility. Jesus accepts the title Son of God and thus assumed to be the agent of providence. In fact later Christology was constructed on a basis pagan mythology were part of an ancient and universal. The Christianity was gradually assimilated to their evangelistic purposes. Thus, the Persian god Mithras was worshiped by 25 December, having reincarnated as a man who came to save all mankind. Similarly, the Egyptian god Horus was born in a manger to a virgin mother named Isis.

The apparent weakness of Jesus to be humiliated at the crucifixion took a further unexpected strength media. Over time the doctrine, myth and legend of Jesus grew, and today it is very difficult esatblecer where reality ends and where fiction begins and the miraculous events. We are facing untold phenomena that are apparently in the light of gödeliane thought . Faith is perhaps the only instrument we have to try to overcome this difficult hurdle.

When Jesus prayed silently sweating blood in Gethsemane, while watching a myriad of stars in the dark blue evening sky of Jerusalem. Prayer and ritual practice takes us away from consciousness and awakens and stimulates the left cerebral hemisphere to strengthen the religious sentiment, explains David Linden.

Jesus, possibly in those bitter moments thought about the origin of the universe, millions of years ago as described in the book of Genesis of Moses: "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The land was confused and void and darkness covered everything. "Is the universe originated by divine creation or through an impressive galactic explosion of unknown nature? Now we know that the mysterious phenomenon that created the universe is probably what we now know as the big bang.

Jesus experienced that night in Gethsemane through an intense mystical experience that allowed him to sense the imminence of death. A surprisingly not terrible outcome that would be sterile. The sacrifice of Jesus would give an impetus to changing majestic life for at least two millennia.

This approach to the historical reality of Jesus, like any other of many possible, is obviously subjective. It is the contemplation of a naive reality  or biased about the character in the light of the latest knowledge in history, archeology and neurobiology. What remains beyond doubt is that Jesus of Nazareth gave off an enormous magnetism that captivated the masses. From the perspective of their  hypothetical naive reality, Jesus himself believed divinely illuminated. His loyalists are at least  believe since then.

The vast complexity of the reality of the personality of Jesus looms iridescent through a thin haze that hides multiple dimensions reverberant amending it. Certain myths reinventing themselves constantly. Other realities naive perspectives of other historians, theologians and scientists undoubtedly enrich our knowledge in the future of the passionate figure of Jesus of Nazareth and perhaps bring us some startling revelation about his life and myth.

********************************************************************
